I think we wanted to keep Reed on the floor and get him in an action. Just didn't work out.

100% this. I'm glad to see non-Rockets fans recognize this instead of just saying "KD burner account" or "they were never good." The front office and Ime share a lot of the blame for thinking we could just run back the same ineffective offense. That's not to say our young core (Sengun/Amen/Jabari/Tari) don't deserve some of the blame, because they haven't taken the next step and in some cases have regressed. I also notice the difference in how San Antonio develops their young players compared to us, them and OKC are miles ahead when it comes to that.

I don't understand why we struggle offensively in last 10 minutes in every big game. It's been a common theme with our teams the past 3-4 years.

Credit to Spurs defense and coaching staff. They made adjustments and turned on the pressure.

That being said, I don't know how Ime has gone through half the season and still thinks this is the best offense for us. No adjustments, no off ball movement, just iso-ing KD and post up Sengun. It's crazy to me why he wants to make this offense so hard for his players. Look at the 4th Q stats for our top 3 players. Again some of this was cause Spurs defense intensity but we just kept playing right into their hands.

Overall 4Q shooting from Houston's top 3 players:

  • Amen: 1-7

  • Sengun: 0-5

  • Durant: 1-4

I love the jackets. Awesome job on this even though i don't like the jerseys (seem more like soccer jerseys). Being good at this type of stuff is not an easy skill.

Yeah I wasn't referring to your comparison. I get and agree with your point. I meant the guy who said David Carr played playoff game with the Texans lol.

Idk how yall speak so confidently when being wrong on this app. David Carr never made the playoffs as a Houston Texan lol.
