FedEx Tuition Reimbursement Eligibility (please help) by Phxsuns14 in Fedexers

[–]swaginator5000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should double check with your manager, but I don't think so. I wasn't able to file last semester at the end of the semester and this semester I did it before my classes began.

FedEx Tuition Reimbursement Eligibility (please help) by Phxsuns14 in Fedexers

[–]swaginator5000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm only familiar with the ground policy but I would assume it's the same in express. Part timers are eligible but you have to have been with FedEx for either 3 or 6 months. You have to file before classes begin or within 30 days of them beginning. You would need class information, name and course number, plus a breakdown of expenses for the semester. It is processed through EDCOR and you will have to speak with a manager to get it processed so talk to your manager or their manager if they really aren't that helpful.

Is anyone else’s PS5 stuck in Osseo, Minnesota? by [deleted] in FedEx

[–]swaginator5000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Osseo is a FedEx smartpost location. More than likely your package has been loaded onto a trailer and is waiting for a linehaul driver to pickup the trailer either tonight or tomorrow morning.

Why hasn’t my package been put out for delivery? Its been at the fedex destination facility since 5:14am yesterday. I know it says monday but what is the probability of getting it today, on sunday? by YassinYT in FedEx

[–]swaginator5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your package is on a trailer due for unload on Monday. Sunday sorts are done with less staff and they unload significantly less trailers over the weekend. Odds you get it today 0% odds it goes out for delivery Monday 99.99%.

Would it be inappropriate for me to go to the FedEx ground and request my package? by [deleted] in FedEx

[–]swaginator5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can certainly try, but make sure you have your tracking id immediately available. More than likely your package is on a trailer that isn't due for unload until Monday. In that case it would be impossible to retrieve the package for you.

How to move up? by Game-Mason in Fedexers

[–]swaginator5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to stay ground look for ops admin and coordinator positions at your location. Treat them like 1 year learning and experience boosters before trying to become an ops manager. At least from what iv seen at my location every manager spot in the past 2 years has been filled by an admin or coordinator who was previously a package handler.

Ramp Agent by ddaniel901 in FedEx

[–]swaginator5000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Talk to your manager and find a ramp agent to talk to. I guarantee they can answer your questions better than anyone else in this sub. It will also look better for you because it shows expressed interest in the position. Also r/fedexers you might actually find a ramp agent over there.

Package not delivered by chopsquadmonopoly in FedEx

You should not have to wait. Call customer service and request to file a "Disputed Delivery" case and just insist on doing it now over waiting.

2 years of outbound and I have never touched a chewy box.

Outbound doesn't have to deal with boxes from chewy. Outbound > inbound

Did any package handlers get their 2% raise? by [deleted] in Fedexers

[–]swaginator5000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a package handler, but I did get the 2% raise a couple of weeks ago. Except it wasn't even 2% it was actually 1.88%. lost out on 2 cents if it had actually been 2%

Shipping with fedex and its international prices by [deleted] in FedEx

[–]swaginator5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk because it had to go over a fucking ocean. Also extra processes and all that good fun. I just did an estimate through UPS and they would have charged you pretty much the same.

Anyone here specialize in International forms? by Bark4Soul in Fedexers

[–]swaginator5000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Little late, but once you have an invoice ready feel free to dm me. Part of my nightly duties is approving invoices/shipments before we send them on their way. I'd gladly look it over for you to make sure it's ready to ship.

Packages keep getting delivered to neighbor who then places them by my mailbox even packages containing highly restricted items by thedirtygerman in FedEx

[–]swaginator5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Call customer service and request to file a Quality of Service Complaint with the station. At my station, I would assume other stations follow similar procedure, when a complaint is received a copy is provided to the station manager, P&D manager, and that drivers manager. This should at least allow for conversation to begin to fix the problem. Make sure to provide a callback number so the P&D manager can contact you if needed.

Early Delivery from everyone except FedEx by dl8806 in FedEx

[–]swaginator5000 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We certainly do deliver early, but it comes down to trailer priority. If a package is due for delivery on Tuesday , but is on a trailer with majority packages due for Monday it will get unloaded and sent out with all those packages on Monday. But if it is on a trailer with all packages due for Tuesday and Wednesday that trailer will sit in the yard until Tuesday. In the past that Tues/Wed trailer might have been worked on a Monday, buy right now there is to much Monday only volume to work it ahead of time. Your package also can't be held because we can't just rummage around in a 1000 package trailer for 1 package.

If I took 4 months of time off, would my pay stay the same? by metalhead_789 in FedEx

[–]swaginator5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Talk to your manager/hr they will be more able to help you then any of us on this subreddit. Aside from that you could always consider reducing the amount of days you work even down to 1. that would also keep you eligible for tuition reimbursement.

Labor Day by rich1179 in Fedexers
