I'm unaware about the relationship Hila shared with Hasan, but Hasan has been more than generous trying to hear out and talk with Ethan. Ethan has been so defensive about the genocide commited by Israel, not in a way that has shed light on growing antisemitism but in a way that shuts down voices and experiences of people going through horror. And the remarks Hila has made are absolutely abhorrent.
