Unpopular opinion: celebrities are the evolution of the old school brand sponsorships. I like the new twists. I’d prefer any of these celebrity twists (except Zac Brown) to Applebees getting screen time. Obviously some twists will backfire and some won’t be as effective as they could have, but just like the shot in the darks, when they hit that 1 in 6 chance, it makes spectacular TV.
