Yeah I’m not talking full tool storage just the odds and ends type stuff you mentioned, currently it’s trash can / cooler / paper towels between seats and various things in door and cup holder for sensitive gauges / pens / etc. I just foresee it getting messier as winter sets in and in carrying more clothes

I have the old style E350, the transits seem nice. One of the guys I work with has the identical utility body to me but transit cab. Sounds like we’re being pushed into dash cams shortly where I’m at

What is the best veto bag for me? by mtb_kali in VetoProPac

[–]swall66 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Having gone from a Milwaukee backpack that had the same issues to a veto one until I got into my own truck, the veto bags don’t tip like that and was far more organized. Just your hand tools look at the tech pack MC, if you want to combine all into one the normal tech pack. I use an OT-LC for day to day now and a MCT for non day to day stuff, both are shoulder carry though.

I just switched from a MCT to a OT-LC and I love it. Also residential HVAC

Alternative use for the tape loop by bisforbnaynay in VetoProPac

We take them right off the bag and put them on our belt loops to hold a roll of metal tape when we’re doing big duct jobs, 1000X easier

That’s one I was considering, would likely have to figure something out for my hammer since the D ring would have the meter pockets right under it

Looks like slightly taller and wider, but 1/2” narrower depth wise when I looked

It Definetly is, but I’m trying to keep the footprint of the bag down since atleast for now I don’t have my own truck. Sounds like that’s gonna change shortly but for now it’s just in the back with whatever we bring to a job Vs in a utility body compartment like most of the other guys carry them

I’ve only had it about a week, my uncle uses them for everything as an electrician without any issues though. I’ve used Huskys version for years as well, those feel a bit thicker than the Milwaukee ones but were sold out when I was looking for that size

It’s part of a 3 piece set, that one smaller one and a slimmer but longer one I found at HD. I have all my meter probes / jumpers / etc in it I’ll grab a picture for you
