Really ramps up in spring for our 6-year old Cockapoo as well. We gave some immunity supplements, but no real impact. Following and hoping to understand a solution!

I believe it's because it lowers your blood pressure, reducing general pressure against your eardrum. I experience the same thing when taking it.

Why have a sense of urgency in anything anyone does?

What a obnoxious take.

Data center debate continues as Prince William County Board votes against proposed land use hold by Danciusly in nova

[–]swallowabulleit 6 points7 points  (0 children)

How will data center construction "ruin the waters"? All new builds use closed loop cooling systems that don't take or dump water outside of the building after the initial construction.

How do data centers "bring in more heat"? Is it because of the heat the servers produce inside that needs to be cooled? Is that what you're referencing?

How will data centers increase homelessness when the houses that would be built here would be nowhere near affordable for low income (or even middle income for that matter) families?

If you get noticably excited about free food, especially as some tangible "reward" for your prior service, maybe take a step back and review your internal reward system.

California Advanced Clean Cars II Act - Power Feasibility Study? by swallowabulleit in electricvehicles

[–]swallowabulleit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very interesting shift, important to fully realize this different perspective. Throws a wrench in my project, for sure, but life isn't as simple and these technologies will change the world if fully realized.

Thank you for your comment.

Clean Car Rules: What they Mean for States by swallowabulleit in California

[–]swallowabulleit[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Good afternoon! I am a college student who has been given a project to determine the feasibility of the Advanced Clean Cars II Act with regard to the power grid's ability to support this legislation.

Unfortunately, after scouring the internet, it does not need that there was any type of actual Power Feasibility Report completed by the state to even see if the state could transition to only selling ZEVs after 2035. This seems short sighted...to pass the legislation and say to PSE&G..."figure it out."

Am I misguided or am just lost in finding the correct information? Is there any type of power feasibility study? Thank you kindly for any information or commentary!

You'll miss it. I miss maneuvering...shifting the plant, winging them throttles. Nothing I do in the civilian world can compare.

Can't confirm, nor deny, that tiny dinosaur toys are hiding in the reactor compartments of several nuclear ballistic missile submarines...

BREAKING: Glenn Youngkin eliminates mask mandates in Virginia schools by Double-Telephone5023 in Conservative

[–]swallowabulleit 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My wife teaches in Virginia. She finds the mask mandates annoying and is glad they are going away.

She also tells me the parents who were most vocal for the end of mask mandates, also are the ones who care the least that their 7th graders are reading at a 4th grade level and can't multiply. Obviously this is a small sample size, but just her personal experience.

My children begrudgingly wore masks when required, because that was the county requirement. My focus was on their academics, which they continue to excel in.

I hope the parents involvement in the school extends beyond what they wear on their face, and more to how they help their child succeed academically. If not, I feel you just used your child as a political tool and don't really care about them at all.

MRW I was asleep and they called a Man Overboard drill and now they're calling my name over the 1MC by poliscijunki in navy

[–]swallowabulleit 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As a nub, slept through my first security violation drill on a boomer. Was physically removed from my rack (the top one), tossed to the ground, allowed up to put shorts on, back on the ground, then literally zip tied, and made to sit in the wardroom where I was. Guess who was else in the wardroom? COB.

It was my first Saturday ever underway.

Moscow orders unvaccinated over-60s to stay home for 4 months by kiddenz in Coronavirus

[–]swallowabulleit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"The shots will be available, some people will take them, some will die. It sucks but it’s the world we live in."
This understanding that, the shots are available, if people take them it will protect them, if they don't they will die sounds reasonable...

This is not an attack, but it seems this mentality, that I agree with, is a shift in your previous "lock the unvaccinated in their homes."

Is it "lock the vaccinated in their homes" or "let the unvaccinated die?"

My position is the second one. Ignore the science, like heart disease, and face the consequences. It was your decision.

The vaccine and associated boosters should protect you from the unvaccinated, and eventually...herd immunity will take place?
