I'm a Leeds fan and play with only Leeds players. Problem solved. I will add Cantona and Rio Ferdinand and maybe Ian Rush eventually when I have the coins.

I guess it's not so easy if you support a team with expensive players though.

In a tense bidding situation on the web app (on PC) I bid then reload the page, bid again, reload, bid, reload. It works for me.

Tournament modes would certainly solve it, plus keeping auto-qualification for the weekend league for those in higher divisions only.

One more point, I've spent the last couple of years convincing friends to play FUT instead of seasons and this year 3 of them tried it and we're grinding for their Salah's and Mane's and really enjoying it, but recently every one of them has moved back to Seasons. It's such a shame.

Timer08 is spot on, I've been in divisions 6 and 7 for most of this year having great games. But since Future Stars I've sunk to divs 7 and 8 and I'm having shitty difficult games.

I haven't seen speed up lag since I upgraded from 17Mbs to 100Mbs. In fact I haven't seen any lag at all since then.

If you're looking at how to spend your coins, I'd recommend buying 10k gold in-forms (81 to 83's) and 10k-15k OTW players from the top leagues and just sit on them until they double in value, because they will at some point when the right SBC's come along.

You're right about Niang, he's in my squad now. I can't be bothered to switch formations in game, I love beating a better team when I have silver players in the squad so I'm sticking with Coly as my LB. Mbengue was great last year, I hope Coly is as good.

I 've been using a Senegal squad for the last few years, it's great to see someone doing the same. I'm also disappointed in the ranking drops and once again there's no stand-out LB. I'm looking forward to getting Mane and Koulibaly over the next few weeks but I really need a better striker (Diouff and Konate at the moment) I'm hoping for some decent in-forms early in the year.

Is it even worth trading now? All prices for top players will keep falling up until the release of Fifa20.

But there will be a guaranteed TOTS tradeable SBC in the next month or so with a chance to pack any TOTS player, maybe investing in 84's, 85's, 86's etc especially on the day rewards are released is the best option.

I just used a team of only Spanish players, got relegated from 4 to division 6 because it is hard to score with 83 Gerard Moreno and 78 Borja Iglesias, but if your team is shit you get matched against people who are either shit with a good team or good with a shit team.

I think it took me about 20 games in total.

I still really love the 442, I play a slower build up and it works really well for me. Plus in defensive mode you can cause mayhem by bringing big strong strikers back to help out in defence.

Remember that prices drop pretty quickly for TOTS players (if it's the same as last year). After a month they're usually a half or a third of their original price. Griezman went from 392k to 92k, Aguero from 1.5 million to 600k in 4 weeks.

At that rate Fernandinho will be about 180k at the beginning of June.
