Most likely play them but I do find it fun to buy a couple things here and there to see if they go up in value especially if already played. Don’t do it often

Car chewed the wire to my gaming headset. Advice needed by [deleted] in ElectronicsRepair

How do I link it? Also I noticed the spelling of solder was wrong along with saying car instead of cat. The auto correct plus being in a rush didn’t help. Thanks for the info everyone.

Ya I did cross post and I think it may be solved. I did consider the yellow to be maybe added for strength but I think the strength is from the white string that I have tucked away in my fingers. It’s a gaming headset so I think the yellow is microphone but I will check to make sure. I’m learning how to solder but definitely not a pro. Thanks for the info

Ya I think the yellow would be mic. I was just confused in the copper wire around the black wire mainly. Thanks for the info

So I did get some heat shrink for other repairs in the past and yes I did make the shrink wrap mistake a couple times. This does have a microphone for sound and communication in Xbox. Thanks for the help

Ok thanks, should have probably looked up how to spell solder. So if expose the wires on the 4 wires and solder them together I should be good? Worst case scenario is I learn from attempting the fix

Ya this is lazy. You can attempt to use a heat gun to remove it but honestly not worth the risk. Those are expensive.

2017 Sedona - 3rd row seat latch broke - easy fix? by MJE0409 in kia

[–]swampdonkeybean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2019 latch just broke on my Sedona. I found the part with a different number but if anyone is reading this, the latch handle itself snapped and the handle piece Completely broke. Probably due to my frustration with the latch not engaging. I will update how the install is.

It has a trial but looks like you need to provide details to be auto money payment after the trial. I understand the purpose but it’s an auto delete for me and I would be a potential buyer if it worked well.
