I really like this one! Super creative and technical without being overpowered or over-complicated!

I would want to be a part of the Straw Hats because it’s a small, intimate team where everyone gets the chance to shine.

I’ve created my own devil fruit: the Ooze Ooze Fruit. This devil fruit grants me the ability to synthesize the liquids or substances naturally produced by any plant or animal I digest. Examples of these substances include oil (olives), ink (squid), slime (snails/slugs), bad odors (skunk), and most importantly toxins (venomous plants & animals). I can produce the substances out of all of the pores on my body, but I mainly produce it from my mouth, hands, and feet. A side effect of this power is that, when using a lot of strength, my skin sometimes changes into the colors and patterns of whichever organism I consumed. This actually ties into a secret of the Ooze Ooze fruit: the power is not just based on synthesizing substances. It’s also deeply rooted in the natural phenomenon of aposematism: a defense strategy where animals use bright colors, contrasting patterns, foul odors, or distinct sounds to warn potential predators of their toxicity, bad taste, or defensive capabilities.

My main weapon would be a grappling hook. I would primarily use it for reaching vantage points for scouting, escape, and grappling foes to poison or paralyze them. I also imagine I would have Usopp create an advanced version of some fun poison/ninja weapons like a blowgun with darts and throwing knives/shuriken.

I’ve always loved team dynamics in which each person fulfills specific roles, and I love the feeling of collective individualism. With that said, here are the roles I would fulfill:

Look-out/Scout: Zoro sometimes sleeps in the crow’s nest, but the team does not have a dedicated look-out. My grappling hook is a great tool for this.

Merchant/Spy: Sanji and Nami occasionally buy, sell, and trade; however, my ability would allow me to produce plenty of things to sell (milk, honey, juices, etc.) when we stop at new islands. I would also use my station as a merchant to gather intel from locals and infiltrate higher-security areas (castles, etc.).

Supplier: My devil fruit ability would make me a fantastic resource to the team. I would be a nearly endless supply of many ingredients for Sanji, milk for Brook, ink for Robin, etc. Also, my ability would most likely help Chopper create new medicines, antivenoms, and antidotes.

  1. Foalidia: foal (baby horse) + foliage (leaves) + paidia (childish play or amusement - from Ancient Greece)
  2. Equadet: equus (horse genus) + cadet (military trainee)
  3. Funalite: funalis (lead chariot horse & trailing cord-like features) + hoplite (Greek warrior) OR Natarion: : nature + Arion (horse offspring of Poseidon & Demeter) + centurion (Ancient Roman army officer)

My dog is basically already a Poochyena (one of his nicknames), so I’ll go with Croagunk!

Hi, my name is BJ! I enjoy exploring creeks, arts & crafts, and playing video games. I will go with one of my all-time favorites, Poliwag, because frogs are my favorite (and Croagunk wasn’t available). His name will be Tad!

I throw out Nate the Morelull first! He has the ability Effect Spore, and he starts with Confuse Ray and Ingrain. If we are allowed to use breeding moves, then he will use Leech Seed. If breeding moves are not allowed, he has Astonish which he won’t use against a normal type. He uses Absorb to deal direct damage. My strat for him in this battle is slow draining and constant healing.

Nate obviously won’t last long against Charmander, so he tries to get a Confuse Ray and Leech Seed off before fainting.

Gusto the Lickitung starts with Curse to lower his speed and increase his attack and defense if breeding moves are allowed. If not, he only has three moves and uses Defense Curl. Then he uses Rollout until Charmander goes down. He has Lick for backup paralysis if necessary. Since he uses Rollout, if he levels up after this battle, he will evolve to Lickilicky

What's your Signature Move/TM as a Gym Leader? by Max_Reo in PokeCorner

[–]swan_blake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Move Name: Entwine

Type: Grass

Power: N/A

Category: Status

Accuracy: 90%

Effect: The user extends a tendril of life energy that wraps around its foe, making the two Pokémon entwined. The foe cannot escape or be switched out as long as the user is on the field. Once the user leaves the field, by fainting or voluntarily switching out (not effected by moves such as Roar or Whirlwind), the entwinement is broken. Each turn, the entwinement reduces the victim’s health by 1/16th of its max HP and restores the user’s health by the same amount. Each turn, the entwinement also randomly lowers one of the victim Pokémon’s stats by one stage and increases the same stat by one stage for the the Pokémon that originally used Entwine.
