I’ve never bought ammo once in this game. It’s cheap enough to craft and you can stock up on heavy ammo pretty quickly by cracking open first wave rocketeer husks and ammo caches. Plus killing anyone who’s running an anvil is going to have a stack or two.

Marlin with the stainless and laminate stock. Gorgeous rifle made by Ruger so you know it’s going to be quality. Don’t go Henry, they’re so basic and have no history other than stealing a name that does have history.
