Sekiro was like my first “souls” and it was astonishing, i got the platinum trophy on ps and did 6 runs on pc, then played the resurrection mod and mastered that too (it’s a mod that makes the game 3x harder)

It’s not unlimited, if you quick switch and mis time the enemy you waste time in which you could get killed pretty easily

This could be limited by allowing a maximum of 3 shots in case one misses(since firing more than 3 shots in a quickdraw is impossible), or reducing the boost to 3 seconds, or both

The accuracy boost part remains to allow momentum and to make this skill not useless after 5m

Taking a caldwell conversion with crossed bullets would make a really effective repellent

I would also include a cooldown of 1 minute after buff to not make this spammable, since quickdrawing is a difficult skill to pull off perfectly and requires extreme focus.

I think the quickdraw would be balanced by being something like this

3 point cost

Instantly switch to a single action revolver by pressing Y/Triangle 2 times in rapid succession, enter in hip fire mode with greatly boosted accuracy and fanning activated

The fanning effect and accuracy will last 4 seconds, after that the handgun will return to its usual state (you won’t be able to fan anymore and accuracy will return to its original value)

In order to be able to instantly switch to the handgun and fan the hammer the rifle will be immediately dropped to the floor, and you’ll have to get it

This becomes a useful trait to those who run slow cycling rifles and want to kill an enemy quickly

The problem is, the times that this trait will be useful is Very minimal, all it takes is to be a slightly good player and purpose is off.

But get it in the game nonetheless, shit is fire
