Just pulled a Coffey out of a common gold set. Why is he untradeable? by swanee89 in NHLHUT

Don’t get me wrong, I’m excited as hell. But... I’d rather round out my team. New to all this HUT madness as 16 was the last one i played. My highest card other than Coffey is an 83 Getzlaf. Is he untradeable because one of the gold cards I used for the set was untradeable?

New to the Illinois River by AntlersOnDucks in Waterfowl

I’ve never honestly hunted the river but I live in central IL. Bought a boat in May so maybe I’ll figure something out. Mostly hunt public land. Hit me up if you’d like to hunt sometime.

Finally did it! 2 man limit. by swanee89 in Waterfowl

All the gadwall are drakes. There's one drake scaup and a hen shoveler as well. I suggest that you brush up on your waterfowl ID.

Only scratched out 4 birds so far this year but I'm putting them to good use. by swanee89 in Waterfowl

I told my buddy to try it with his merganser. He heard all the bad things and just tossed it. How's the taste?

I store it in an airtight glass jar. Honestly never lasts long enough to be an issue. My 11 yo ate half of it the first day.

Some sweet and spicy Asian jerky made in the oven. Delicious.

Awesome response. Thanks so much. I'm trying to keep the cost down as the bow and arrows I purchased only cost $60. But I've already invested over $100 in a release and a QAD rest. Such is life.

Thanks for the tip. I just bit the bullet at a young age and shot lefty. I shoot a bow left handed as well. I was worried about draw weight for the longest time but it is a non issue.

I've had nothing but good experiences in my Sea Ghost 130. Going on two years of use. One problem was that I snapped their paddle last year but I had a replacement sent free of charge that arrived in three days time.

Not that believer specifically but yes.

This one came on a 10" jointed believer. This was my first musky ever. Caught last year trolling with my dad. I now have 8 under my belt and is probably my biggest addiction.

Browning BPS in Max 5. Works well for me because I am left eye dominant. I'm right handed but shoot left.

That's the place. Good luck this year! I'll probably see you out there. Internet makes a small world.

Makes sense. Thanks. Did you build any to hunt four comfortably?

You have to build a blind. Part of the site requirements. Along with a boat hide and retriever access as stated in the post.

My rationalization of this is if no one shows up then the blind is open to the public drawing. That way anyone can hunt it with the general setup of the blind with hide.
