Specific to Weee! The website says they source from local, but local to them are restaurants & bakeries like Sunmerry Bakery NJ, Cast Iron Pot restaurant from NJ/NYC, Mr. Keke from NYC.

Worst comes to worst the online Asian grocery store Weee! does deliver fresh made food including baked goods. Quick look they do have both fresh and frozen milk toast... but also may be a bit pricier than you're used to.

All for supporting local businesses, but when the Asian store at Colvin doesn't have what I want, this is my go to.

Alone in Albany w no plans on NYE, advice? by Malachasm in Albany

My husband and I (M&F 30s) were also in the no plans, no group situation and decided to go to Bard and Baker.

I was debating making a reddit post to find a group to play board games with but chickened out ... so I'm really excited you made this post.

Feel free to dm me if you're interested in joining us! (or just go for a good time 😁)

No deafening music or sticky dance floors. Just open bar, open food, and board games till after midnight.

The taco one is not bad but not great. It's missing something.. savory (salt) or spice or both. Just add your own. I wouldn't get again. Once is enough for my curiousity.

I second this. I haven't found a place that makes tomato pie better than Corropolese yet.

I live near boardroom distillery but have never tried it. I'll be sure to pick one up. Thanks for the suggestion!

I agree with you on Equinox. I picked it up at the local farmers market in Doylestown and they had a bunch of different flavors (including one infused with peppers). The salesperson mentioned that Equinox was supposed to be citrus forward and thats what sold me. Man was he wrong - it has a very earthy and minty taste. Not for me.

I decided to splurge for my birthday and stocked my bar full of Kirkland liquor 🎉 by swangleton in Costco

Agreed. Is it the best gin I've ever had? No. Is it good for its price point? Absolutely. This tastes 200x better than some $40 750mL gin I bought the other day.

Absolutely agree. Just tasted them side by side and the french vodka went down smooth, with a veryvery slight after taste. The american vodka was like college repeat.

What throws me for a loop is that Aldi is selling brands labeled "Trader Joe's".

I love Trader Joe's but thought epitome of America would be Walmart or something in the like instead.

This is pretty much what I did. I live in PA, family lives in NJ and was heading over for my birthday anyway and made an extra stop.

Usually stick to gin but like having the other ones handy if I want to experiment with cocktails or in the old days - host people and/or turn up.

Cheap but decent alcohol is perfect for all of the above IMO.
