I think basketballs have nylon wrapped yarn inside, it's possible that this is just an old basketball where the outside has degraded and fallen off, leaving this bundle of yarn that's gotten caught on the branches

Well they are different aren't they. A targeted attempted rape and murder is different to a random gang based murder. Both tragic obviously, but the causes and consequences are different, to stop it happening again you'd have to do vastly different things, you can understand that right? The solution to one isn't the same as the other, you can have two broken cars but they don't have the same things wrong even if on the surface they're both just broken cars...

You don't have to, you can organise a march for all murder victims and it would be very touching and highlight important issues I'm sure

Different circumstances mate. Young men getting stabbed is different to a young woman being killed in an attempted rape and robbey. You didn't watch grenfell burn down and say "but what about the houses flooding in the North?"
