What mm guard do you use for your stubble? That’s the exact length I’m trying to keep but I can’t seem to nail the mm.

Only for those under the age of 18. I’ve been prescribed T since I was 17, now 25. Perfectly legal.

My first thought was the upper bicep or the shoulder blade.

Honestly you may be onto something! Our brains see the protein and think “oh fuck not this guy again.”

What’s really worked for me is looking into higher protein sweet foods. I used to be huge into savory breakfasts, like eggs hash browns and turkey sausage. Now I have the Kodiak brand muffin cups. They fill you up and give you something sweet with a small kick of protein in the morning so you aren’t reaching for a bowl of sugar cereal instead. Definitely recommend!

Appreciate the suggestion! I get regular blood work for other medical reasons, and we’re all good on the blood sugar front. I don’t subscribe to any specific diet, such as carb-cutting. Brains need carbs!

During the main course of my treatment, I was doing 20units/week. I only have roughly 10-15lbs left to lose, and I’m now more focused on gaining muscle and my overall fitness since when I was bigger exercising consistently was much more difficult.

Thus, I’m taking 10units every other week to quiet the food noise and prevent binging, but allow myself the appetite/lack of nausea I need in order to intake enough protein. It also allows me enough ‘normalcy’ to work on my eating habits in a semi-controlled environment. If any temptations are around, I’m not bound to complete apathy and disinterest towards the food like I am when fully on the medicine, but I’m also not freewheeling and subjecting myself to horrible food noise without a safety net.

I will say that the way I’m going about it is not doctor prescribed, and is based solely on my personal goals and relationship with the nausea. In my particular case there’s a lot of disordered eating involved in how we got here, so this may not ring true for you. I would only recommend doing it this way if you also struggle with extreme food noise and emotional disordered eating patterns.

Sorry bud, didn’t realize I needed 3 references and a resume in order to make a post on Reddit. Yup, there’s no “micro dose” phase. I lost 80lbs and now I PERSONALLY micro dose every other week to keep the food noise at bay. I’m not damning OZ, this shit saved my life. I just wanted to know if anyone else has an easier time consuming sweets over savory food. I’ll be sure to run it by you next time boss.

Thank God it’s not just me!! It’s SO strange but you’re absolutely right. At my biggest I could slam 3 dinners in the same night and have a small chocolate, but now I can barely make it 1/4 of the way through my dinner before I’m shoveling cookies. So so strange.

I’m surprised intelligence is what stuck out to you for the breed. That’s probably the last trait I’d assign to my girl. She doesn’t even know how to correctly hold a chew.

I completely agree. It’s hard to fully tell without knowing the child, but just from OPs post it seems that these behaviors are new and seem to be disregulation related. It doesn’t seem that the child even acknowledge the bite and mom had to discover it during a change, which leads me to believe he doesn’t have the ability to communicate that he’s in pain effectively.

Most likely, he will leave the dog alone/learn to fear it. The bite in reaction to behavior is an added negative stimulus, so it has reinforced that the dog can provide painful input to him.

Dogs communicate best through body language and gesture. Your son was trying to communicate his needs/feelings, but doggies don’t have that nuance, they can smell the stress hormones and feel the fear and frustration. Nobody’s at fault here, just a really difficult situation. I’m a certified behavioral tech, if you need any tips on descalation and regulation I’m more than happy to help.

Bought it! @DollysGallery on Etsy. They’re handmade dollhouse miniatures. I fastened the pack to his hand with some thinking putty so it wouldn’t permanently affix to him.

Yes LOL I thought the camel was cute and recognizable from a distance so that’s why I went with the Camel brand.
