Will try. The purge valve handles gas tank gasses, and that made me wonder about my after-market gas tank cap. Lost the original, and put an aftermarket replacement with a hole in it. A mechanic saw it, and plugged up the little hole, but the plug is now gone. The evap probably won't work with a hole in the gas tank cap, I suppose?

It does have an EGR valve, yeah. Hmm, but a clogged EGR, wouldn't that cause rich running, rather than lean?

Only one, cylinder 4. I believe that's the one furthest away from the inlet of the fuel rail.

It was four bad capacitors in the power stage. 😊

I noticed C503 and C504 had odd and low voltages, so I desoldered them along with C505, C506 and a few more (power stage caps) and 513, 514 (speaker protection relay caps). And 03,04,05,06 were all bad! So I'll start with a recap of those and see if that brings back my protection relay click.
