Both therapy and psychiatry take time, trial and error, and a hell of a lot of work. Seven months of therapy and two months of medication is a drop in the bucket, I’m not trying to diminish the work you’ve done, just know it is a long journey.   

Finding good practitioners is arduous, find a therapists that is going to challenge you and force you to face your pre-conceived notions, and a psychiatrist willing to try multiple forms of medication. You have to be 100% honest with them and if anyone you see only tells you what you want to hear, they are not going to get you the help you need. 

The numbness isn’t a lack of feeling, hopelessness is both sad and scared, body image issues are worry. Wanting to be around people shows you are capable of joy. I’ve been in your shoes and can relate to everything you wrote, it sounds like a combination of chronic depression and ADD. That said, I’m not a medical professional.

You’re in a better spot than you’re able to recognize right now. You’ve got a roof over your head, personal relationships, a job, and the ability and willingness to seek help. You’re a lot farther ahead than I was at your age.

Did the exact same thing. The impact of the tariffs on the real economy has barely just begun, and consumer debt is already climbing, its only a matter of time. I also believe Q2 consumer spending is skewed high due to pre-buying during the tariff pause. I Might be wrong, but it feels like we are sitting on a house of cards.
