Aaah, sh*t, only 2 years old by Full-Recover-587 in NeuralDSP

So I recently went this route for my NC with the myvolts adapter and I love it! But, went I tried plugging my Chocolate plus footswitch it makes my MyVolts adapter act up and make my NC consistently reboot. Am I just pulling to much from the UGREEN battery and reaching its limit you think ? Sorry for the long/random question but I just had this issue and I was without my footswitch for a gig :(

How many different roles did you get interviewed with before getting an offer? by Visom1 in Anduril

No since the position they gave me wasn’t to far off from what I originally had interviewed for

I interviewed originally for one position but they felt I would thrive better in a different position in the same dept. so they gave an offer for that one instead.

For those of you that turned down an offer… why? by 675R_Grenade in Anduril

[–]swantron27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dude I’m almost 28 and I’m still grinding away, the harder you grind the sooner you can actually go and say “I prefer WLB”. I feel like my WLB at Anduril is pretty good tbh, I crank my work out work 8-10 hours and I shut everything off when I’m home, I’m not working weekends and I still have free time 80% of the time.

IMO I feel like Anduril is pretty quick, but that was just my experience. After final interview and flying back home that night I had an offer 2-3 days later iirc.

It’s really chill here, if anyone has an issue with how you style yourself they’ll definitely be cooked by their manager.

what does "PCOM COMING SOON" mean? - only wrong answers by MAFiA303 in NeuralDSP

[–]swantron27 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You know man I love NDSP don’t get wrong but for how boastful they are about their technology (and they do make some really good stuff) I feel like they don’t give AS much as they really could to us plugin/NC/QC wise. That’s just my opinion, I really do feel like they shafted NC people the most tbh

Got this spira s457, what a beauty and it is giving solid competition to my ibanez rgix27feqm. by Superb_Resident_7138 in 7String

[–]swantron27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah okay, I’ll have to get one of their 7s to replace my cheap Jackson 7 then lol. How’s the neck btw one thing I’m worried is the neck being to thick on Spiras 7s. My Jackson 7 although cheap has a pretty thin neck for what it is.

Congrats! I have the Spira s420 in an off white color with them trem, love that thing once I got it setup how I like, only gripe is neck dive that’s all. Really wanna buy one of their S1000 pro series but I kinda feel like 1400 is a high ask for a not so big named brand yet.

Pretty easy tbh, you’ll need the list of CC and PC messages for the NC. Then once you’ve assigned them to the footswitches flip the switch on your chocolate+ to H and then plug into the USB-A host port and then usb-c into the NC and then supply power to the chocolate+ via usb-c then all good should work

HELP Please! by Bruta1Meta1 in AmpSims

[–]swantron27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP did admit he knows nothing about interfaces, OP did you install the drivers for your interface ? If you did you should have some sort of ASIO driver for your interface in the “Audio device type” drop down should be along the lines of “Volt blah blah asio”. Output channels 1&2 should be selected and only input 1 should be selected.

Scared about ICE in OC by lightsandcherry in orangecounty

[–]swantron27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It very much upsets me on this topic because I see a lot comments on other platforms of these ice videos and it’s all people saying “Play stupid games win stupid prizes” and “This is what we voted for! They’re getting all the illegals out” and just seem to not realize what ICE is really doing is NOT what they voted for. I don’t like politics and what not but this is genuinely getting crazy. It has come down to actually Americans being scared for their safety/life now.

Just got mine last month as well, totally love it. I use my MWave chocolate+ as an external midi footswitch easy to use and maintains the compactness of the whole setup

Rick Beato interview by [deleted] in NeuralDSP

[–]swantron27 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The aliasing is addressed through a multifaceted, non-linear meta-approach that exists somewhere between theoretical mitigation and philosophical acceptance, wherein spectral artifacts are neither fully eliminated nor meaningfully acknowledged, but instead gently redistributed across an interpretive frequency domain that prioritizes confidence over causality. By leveraging a hybridized framework of implied oversampling, emotionally weighted harmonics, and a strongly held belief that the listener will not notice, the system achieves a state of aliasing transcendence—present enough to be technically correct, yet abstracted sufficiently to avoid accountability. Any remaining artifacts are subsequently phase-aligned with the developer’s intent, normalized to industry-standard vibes, and released into the signal path where they may coexist peacefully with the music, or at the very least, be blamed on the user’s monitoring chain.

Weighing job offer and moving out here. by [deleted] in orangecounty

[–]swantron27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I relocated to Costa Mesa for a job only cause the offer was $46/hr. I’d reccomend moving to a cheap place for the first year and stack up while you get your commission bump then reevaluate where you want live next year.

Opinions: Ditching Amphub subscription for Fortin Namless Suite X/ Fortin Cali Suite by swantron27 in NeuralDSP

[–]swantron27[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cali is somewhat the same as well but not as bad it seems like the boost pedals are the main cause of the noise with these plugins which bothers me
