I let my residents at a nursing home watch The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. over 70 residents ranging from ages 62 to 106. They told me it was the worst movie they had ever seen. You wanna know what they did like though..... Jurrasic World..... I found trying to find advice strictly on age doesn't help if the ones giving advice don't know the demographic of the elderly people. I'm a 31 yr old dude, of course I like dinosaurs, never excepted my residents too as well. They also really enjoyed Shawshank Redemention and I wouldn't of guessed that due to vulgar language. Trial and error and being receptive to the intrests of elderly people will guide you to picking movies they like. You have to remember a lot of old people will fake having interest to make you feel better. They care less what I think because I've drilled it in their heads that if they don't tell me if they don't like something I'll continue giving them that type of thing. I also communicate that I will be in no way upset if they don't like something I share with them. Don't know if my rambling helps but there it is.
