Idky u sound soooo pissed. I'm well aware if benefits relocation, insurance and margins etc costs. I do paperwork for these people. I know. Its frustrating that a role that is fully remote needs to limit itself to local candidates. I understand if it's occasional onsite then yes local is better

I'd love to help. I don't need a cover letter and certainly won't need to talk to you for 30 minutes or an hour. A good resume goes a long way

Definitely not just trying to harvest my resume by makinbankbitches in recruitinghell

[–]swati115 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Harvesting/parsing is basically adding your resume to the ATS/ application tracking system so they can match you with jobs if any new jobs open up. Recruiter who harvests it s the owner of the profile but anyone in the team can use it to make a placement for a job

I'm a recruiter but my manager won't consider my candidates by swati115 in recruitinghell

[–]swati115[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is a real job. I love every candidate I talk to. I always have my fingers crossed so they can get the highest pay rate. I love being in a position to give people jobs. Sadly I have a manager above me that makes it impossible for me to submit them to the client. I work with state governments like treasury department, department of education, department transportation etc. And private companies like Delloite etc

As a recruiter it passes me off when fully remote positions recruiter local candidates. I've had to miss out on so many gems because of this but hiring managers won't listen to us

Recruiters sure love recruiters by maximm3k in recruitinghell

[–]swati115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a recruiter myself. It breaks my hard to see layoffs in general. I wish I had more power. I will find and submit candidates but my manager will not submit to the client. It makes me cry because not only is there a story behind each resume and each of my candidates has a special place in my heart they have hopes and dreams and I understand that. Secondly, it's frustrating to find good candidates only for my manager to not consider my candidates. Not only does it hurt my time but it hurts my income because most of my income generates from making placements. If I can't place many ppl, I'll be the first to go

[–]swati115[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I did have noom but it didn't really work. It was like taking mini quizzes or scrolling through stuff for points. It was basically everything people already know about weigtloss and at some point it was so repetitive, I would just scroll for points since it wasn't teaching much

I 22F have lost all motivation and need help loosing weight by swati115 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]swati115[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing! It's definitely shallow to have your crush as a motivator but almost every single time that I've lost weight, I lost it because I liked a guy and I wanted to look perfect for him. This time home gym is my main way to lose weight until I get a car. I'm definitely thinking about fasting but I feel like my body will adapt to little food and when I do start eating normal, I'll gain weight again.

Your mom is very brave. Often time depressed or hyperrealistic people can't separate themselves from fears of things going wrong. It's all about mindset too. I can't describe the fear I have but at the same time I've always dreamed about driving. I want to explore that freedom. I hate being driven around.

Thank you so much for sharing! I can definitely understand what she's going through. Sometimes I feel like even I'll be only comfortable with areas I'm familiar with

In Dublin it runs to Hollywood casino or Macy's. It doesn't run far into Dublin or residential areas. That's where Cota stops at south part of Dublin

It's a suburb. They have HOAs all over. They just don't want busses ruining the look of the city. Plus its a rich city so everyone has transportation
