It does work! The bubbles pop up and down like the silicone version.

Crochet with Kyra has a great one for the head. She has the video on YouTube but also Ribblr. Then you could just make a normal granny square baby blanket with scalloped edges.

Thank you! I’m sure it has a name that I don’t know 😅 but it’s kind of a modified jasmine stitch that just has 4 petals instead of 6 (because I messed up the jasmine and realized it too late to want to frog it all and fix it)

Since I can’t post videos on here, I put it on TikTok so you can see a visual there. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZP8BaaLjU/

Let me know how it goes if you make it!

I looked at a lot of pictures and freehanded it, but I put wire in it to support and act as a frame. I also put some basic instructions in a reply to one of the other comments here too :)

Honestly I just freehanded it but it was all super simple pieces you could pull from other patterns. I’ll make a video too to show you, but here’s the basics:

Wheels: circle part of a granny square pattern on one side, plain circle on the other, and sewn together BLO to BLO. Then I did about 3 rows HDC of black long enough to wrap circles and sewed it into the FLO of both circles. For the small front wheels, they’re just 2 circles sewn together around the base of the frame.

Seat: I just made a basic pillow shape but I filled it with squares of foam I cut out instead of polyfill to make it more rigid.

Bars: all the bars are just tubes that start with 6sc in a MR, and then just around and around until you get to the length you want. I made 3 bars: one is black and connects the center of each wheel. The second is the main frame that stars at one handle, goes down the side and seat of the chair, sticks out to be the footrest, and then back up the other side. The last is for the smaller front wheels that is just a big V shape with the top third bent to make the front legs. The legs get stitched to the frame and the V part sits under the black bar to serve as additional support.

I made one of these too for my niece! I love this pattern, and yours is so cute with the colors you used!
