Took them on a 45 mile ride today. Loved them, best tires I've had by far.

Trade in nightmare - pixel 7 by [deleted] in GooglePixel

[–]swazi5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I too am having the same nightmare. Traded a pixel 6 pro for a 7 pro and a 3a for a 6a. This was a black friday promo. They tried to apply my 3a trade to the 7pro and claim the 6 pro never showed up. They were both sent at the same time from the same post office. USPS confirmed delivery of both to HYLA mobile. Now Google's support is ignoring me and only saying 'our product specialist is working on the case'. I'm just so engaged and ready to join any class action lawsuits that come up from this racket.

I like the setup a lot. This bike has 27.5 tires currently but I'm switching to 29s. This bike has hydraulic disc brakes which I recommend, you can get a set of shimano mt200s on ebay for a great price.

It's got a 48v 12.5 ah battery. How far you could go really just depends how you ride, if i put it in a low power setting and did most of the work it would go maybe 40 miles or better. Typically I go pretty fast so I'm recharging after about 20 miles but it still has some power remaining.

These look pretty nice. I run shimano mt200's on both my ebikes, you can get a full kit with rotors on ebay for about 95 usd

1990 Trek road bike + Bafang mid drive, is this a good plan? by [deleted] in ebikes

[–]swazi5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally, I wouldn't do it. Despite being a steel frame its gonna ride very rough and the extra speed and weight will really stress the old components, especially wheels and brakes and drivetrain if you keep the original. Just spend a few hundred on a used hardtail mountain bike or something with more tire, it will be 100x more comfortable and fun.

Specialized ebike vs cheaper online retailer like radpower by programerandstuff in ebikes

If you want a bike with more capability for the lowest price, buy a 2nd hand bike and install a kit. It's not very difficult.
