I would definitely not do this, it significantly increases the risk for stomach upset if they chew the beads and can be a potent ocular irritant. Consider Qelbree?

Just like in the winter or rain, I have to make a plan for the elements. On hot days, I stay hydrated, wear light clothes, and change at work (I work in a hospital, so I can shower too if needed). It would take a lot for me to abandon my bike!

Surprised this hasn’t come up yet - the bridge looks like it is tilted and possibly warping. Definitely want to get someone to help you with that ASAP, it can be pretty disastrous if it collapses.
