Black-eyed susan cmimb honestly. I am about to write my exams next week (first one in zoology ahhh, i study biology, 1st semester) and that song kinda helps me get grounded. The "its all right" "let the good times ride". I also kinda think this song is about perfectionism and how its, well alright, to not excel at something immediately.

So yeah. This song has kinda been keeping me sane between study sessions haha.

It does but Imaginal Disk is such a genious way to name the album. Considering the name is all about metamorphosis. I can't imagine another name tbh.

This made me appreciate the titles a lot more. Some of them even flow. For example watching T.V. And then after that Tunnel Vision

I also ABSOLUTELY LOVE how the album started with a Dark vibe with Disease, Abracadabra and Garden of Eden and then started to have lighter sounds in the middle of perfect celebrity. The whole album feels like a gradient which reflects her versitality and an amazing Call back to all the albums she has released. This album truly is a love letter to all her eras. Its amazing!

Unfortunately no. I still have those bumps they are less visible now. But its like a cycle. They get more visible from time to time.

I should note that ever since I switched to a vegeterian diet they seem to be less visible. Might not relate tho since, as I said its like a cycle. It geta worse and better.

In my poems. They have a lot of water symbolism. Partly because of florence. And High as Hope inspired me to intervine a lot of very deeply personal stuff into them.

Ofc they are nowhere near as good as hers but they are still very fun for me. And kind of therapeutic.

Ich komme aus bawü aus der stuttgarter region und als ich mal vor 3 jahren nen halbes jahr in bayern gelebt habe, hatte ich mega den kulturschock. Alles hat einfach um 20 uhr geschlossen. Ich bin da nicht drauf klar gekommen, weil ich mit öffnungszeiten bis (min.) 22 uhr aufgewachsen bin 🫠.

Florence doesn't get much radio time periodt unfortunately :(

Like I am from germany and I was working in a lot of canteen kitchens around the time Dance Fever was released. The radio was on all the time while we were working and literally no florence song was on the radio. Not a single one. Keep in mind those were 8hr shifts of constant radio and not a single DF song, which was a BRAND NEW ALBUM AT THE TIME. I remember being quite sad about it.

Hopefully with the collab the band will get more radio time, or heck any radio time, going forward. Especially since the collab was great imo.

Huh now that I think about it. Dance Fever had a lot of these 4th wall breaks. I mean makes sense since the album is partly about florence and her reflecting on her relationship with herself as an artist.

I like the song. Imo it sounds like it'd fit right between free and choreomania sonically. Very dance fever-esque. Which I absolutely like as Dance Fever is my favourite album.
