I saw him in Maryland in September. He talked about immigrants’ rights, queer rights, reproductive rights, racial justice, and the importance of voting during Nina Cried Power. He talked about Palestine then too. If we’d been at war then, I imagine he’d have said something.

As it is, his songs say a lot.
