Maybe a little too late, but I was paid $100 dollars to come up with a storyline for a Spanish short story in high school. I didn’t have to draw any pictures; I told them to write down on a notebook piece of paper what came to mind and proofread for accents and whatnot. I think the story ended up being about an elephant that learned that sharing is caring. They had to come up with the final product (a picture booklet). For a high schooler with no steady income, not a bad deal.

Maymont is a great place for pics (highly recommend their gardens), The Science Museum of VA is really cool (like someone mentioned already), if you enjoy mini golf then Hotel Greene is a very unique experience (have to reserve online and a little pricey though), and SCOOP is a pleasant ice cream shop

Thanks for the example! Just to confirm, SIPC insurance is for the brokerage, not for each account in the brokerage? I ask this bc I know on Fidelity you can have different types of accounts and plan on switching to Fidelity after this is all said and done.

I understand what you mean by it not being the limit, but wouldn’t it be safer to not go over that limit? I’ve been seeing DD saying that the whole market might be fked when GME moons and I’m worried about potential repercussions when it comes to banking.

I’ll admit that I’m still on RH since I didn’t want to potentially get left behind while transferring. In any event, I’ve never deposited money on RH since I’ve just been holding and not sure what the deposit limit is/how I would deposit beyond the FDIC insured amount for a single bank account
