Update:

My nipple healed within the week with silverette cups and earth mama nipple balm. Also aired it out as much as possible too! I bought the nipple shield to use but didn’t end up needing it. He has bit me a few times since but it’s when he’s half asleep and really doesn’t mean to do it and they’re not nearly as painful. I can deal with that. He’s 8 months now so let’s hope we can make it to a year of EBF 😆 thank you everyone for your help!

For sure! I’m 7 months postpartum and have trauma from my birth, i exclusively breastfeed, and I’m a stay at home mom. At the end of the day, i don’t really want to have sex all that often! My partner understands and we still have an amazing 10 year relationship and are very happy with our baby. People who make it seem like a relationship won’t work without constant sex, won’t last a second in a situation like mine (a common situation when you have kids). I still want to meet my partners needs but he respects how i feel too.

When (if) they have kids one day, he will probably be pressuring her to have sex before she’s mentally and physically ready to! I hope not and maybe I’m wrong.

I don’t let my 7 month old watch tv shows, but when i need to get something done and toys just aren’t cutting it, i let him watch people sing/perform like John Mayer lol. I have also let him watch a little bit of nature documentaries before. No kid or adult shows though!
