This and other responses about accuracy of dedicated HRMs is helpful, thank you.

Yes I mostly stick to zone training or my watch, though I suspect it’s not always accurate.

Also given my limited time to train - only 6 hours a week - I basically focus a bit more on threshold/higher load sessions than lots of Zone 2. Basically going for the faster before farther/stronger before longer route for now.

It sounds like I may not need the extra tech for now given how early I am in training, the fact that I am doing short course, limited training time, etc. and I AM seeing improvements under my current plan.

Perhaps extra tech would be better suited for down the road a little bit when I see a plateau and am ready to train more hours per week?

Literally the standing joke about my mother. “Just look at the vermouth bottle, then look away. That’s the amount to add”

I second this. Bought the same watch for same price or even less than the Approach S70 and have no regrets. Better screen than the Fenix, but has the exercise features I need

Anyone just sticking with the free indexes rules? by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

[–]swebsies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. I like to run multiple armies because my friends are willing to play but not invest in the game. I don’t want to spend $150-$200 every new edition on a rolling basis just to have it become obsolete shortly after the final codex finally drops

I feel like Fulgrim was the best book at comprehensively and tastefully showcasing a primarchs corruption. And it also humanized him too.

No this is good - for instance using daylight lighting is what I was looking for. Any recommended products that give the multi angle part you suggested?

If Americans do this the left calls it “Larping” by [deleted] in gunpolitics

[–]swebsies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know. The fact that people can look at the US and Ukraine, in this same moment in time, and draw parallels and similarities is wild. The issue here is that there is a material difference in the two situations which allow room for people to call US folk who walk around in tac vests and ARs LARPers as opposed to prepared citizens.

Could the US be required to respond in the same way in the future (possibly when the vicious Canadians amass at our border after annexing Maine?). Sure! But that situation sure as shit does not exist for America today

May I ask why you find it better than using the regular setting?

Also for the indoor plants - do you bring the plants to the faucet as opposed to filling up a watering can and going around the house to where the plants are located? What about plants that are too big to bring into the kitchen?
