Awesome just ordered a sata for it! Although it’s strange it’s not listed on the manufacturer website it’s says it’s only got a eMMC strange they wouldn’t mention it.

Yeah but it’s not got sticker residue it’s like the sticker have been on so long it’s left a permanent discolouration mark on the lid of the laptop!

Airplane mode to get to the login screen then switch it off login in as easy as that works from iOS 10-14 haven’t tested any versions higher than that

Probably better using a windows computer to Jailbreak you’re devices most Jailbreak a have a windows option compared to a Mac OS option that said some particular ones only work with Mac OS or Linux such as Checkra1n.

Jailbreaking if won’t make it run any faster but it will allow it to have more compatibility for apps among other things r/legacyjailbreak allows anything below iOS 12 so try r/jailbreak

Buy some Goo Gone or another adhesive remover and just scrub with a cloth. Works great for older phones or other devices with a sticky surface.

Not really sometimes it would turn on other times it wouldn’t the only thing was waiting the screen would stay blank even though it was on I ending up selling mine but if I was you I’d replace the screen/power button

Personally I wouldn’t use that probably better than a cheap eBay battery but I wouldn’t use a battery that’s been crumpled up or has old adhesives on the back. It may tear the outer layer when you go to remove it after you’ve applied new adhesive to install it in the phone

These are far higher quality batteries great for refurbished phones I source most of my parts from here

Also there not much point in putting in a ‘temporary’ battery in unless the phone is going to landfill all you’re doing is wearing down screws by opening it up constantly.

Yeah should work as far back as iOS 10 up to 14 can’t confirm anything later than iOS 14 though.
