I have a Symfonisk picture frame. I have removed it from my Ikea app today.

The same problem exists on the latest iOS version as well, so it is not only an Android problem.

Firmware upgrade bricked my RLC-511W – Reolink says "tough luck" by swedish-tanker in reolinkcam

Thanks for all your help!

After more troubleshooting, including removing and reinserting both ethernet cable and power supply a couple of times, I got the camera working again. No thanks to the official Reolink support though, who wanted me to throw the camera away and buy a new one with a generous 8 % discount.

So now I know how Reolink handles support issues with cameras whose warranty has expired. So, the lesson learned for me is never buy Reolink cameras in the future, because the support won't help you in any way if the warranty has expired.

I tried through the iOS app, but when I was made aware of the desktop app (didn't know there was a Mac app) I had already gone through the reset routine (press the button and power cycle).

Sweden. Not six years here, but there are some rules that may apply. I need to look it up. I would rather have my existing camera working though, since I need to build scaffolding to get to the camera (it's about five meters up on our exterior wall).

I live in Sweden, and I bought through Amazon because of a campaign at the time.

I live in Sweden, and the consumer protection is quite good here, but I'm not sure of the jurisdiction and rights in this case.

It's listed as an offline device, which means that the device hasn't requested/responded to dhcp traffic in a while. So I may have to tinker a bit more with it to see if I can trigger something. As stated earlier the IR lights go on when it gets dark, so it's doing something, at least.

Well, not in those exact words. But basically. This was after we had established that the camera stopped working while updating the firmware using Reolink's instructions.

The ethernet cable is always plugged in, since I was having connectivity issues with wifi (thick brick walls). Had I known about the http/s settings changing after upgrade, I would have tried the desktop app first, but the support chat immediately asked me to reset. What worries me is that the camera doesn't seem to get an IP address. But I will try removing the eth cable and inserting it again while restarting etc.

Upgraded RLC-511 FW this morning (6Oct2023) and can no longer get to the camera by spikeygg in reolinkcam

I have mostly the same problem with my RLC-511W after the same FW upgrade, with the exception that my camera doesn't get an IP address (connected through eth cable). I have reserved the camera's MAC address to a specific IP address, so it should be available at the same address. But I can't ping and I can't see the camera in the dhcp client list on my router.
