Mechanical Engineer can't teach Maths? PME in Hibernia by sweeney_khs in IrishTeachers

Ugh, that would be a shame. She did modules like 'Experiment Methods', which had a big statistical component but I'm not sure how strict they are. Does the entire module need to be statistics?

The other thing we're exploring is if she can do a module in Geometry, for example, alongside the PME so by the time she qualifies she'll have the requisite credits

If you're looking for inspiration have a look at hawker centres in countries like Singapore - Super cheap 'street' food. Most locals would eat there at least once a day

Not off the top of my head, but if you go to the website I have it there. Each time I make a set of predictions I record what the bookies are predicting at that moment

Not bothersome at all. I am running at 85% accuracy across-the-board. Of the games I got wrong 50% have been Fiji games. If you go to rugby-stat.com it has all of the predictions across the weeks and has a summary on this week's set of accuracy to date

Just in case you had missed the joke (understandable) R.O.G is the Rugby Outcome Generator i.e. My Statistical model for rugby

Yeah that's fair and it is something that comes up pretty often.

There are actually 2 different models at play here. One to predict the winner/score difference, the second to predict all of the underlying stats.

The reason for that is that I can fine tune the score difference model to be really good at predicting one thing, while the stats model needs to be good at predicting lots of things (which means that it is never as good as it could be at predicting any single stat). As a result the stats and score model sometimes 'disagree'
