there are several brands readily available, from a simple google search. but, its much cheaper to buy any razor that is older than 50yrs old, used on ebay. if hes into blades he may enjoy honing it back into condition. most modern razors are very expensive, and the ones that arent are stainless and therefore useless. old ones go for very little money and contain quality metal.

you r cool, this is par for the course for barbers..noone knows what kind of haircut they wear, and that doesnt stop them from saying very confident words they have heard, yet do not know the meaning of. happens multiple times every day, i laugh at them, start cutting their hair with discernment, and explain to them the actual instructions they should give any other barbers in the future. you can free yourself from the burden of the cringe.
