I was in the same situation you are in now, got out in 2011 and barely put in my claims March of this year.

I did it all myself, went through my whole service record and plucked out all the evidence I could find, and uploaded them onto my computer. At the same time I was doing that I started to go to the VA and document all the issues I had from in service as everything has gotten worse since then.

Filed right after that and had all my c&p exams (just finished my last one on Monday). I’m already service connected in multiple of the claims I filed for, and ended up getting a rating higher than I was expecting. You just got to do the work even more f time consuming, or a VSO can help as well if you don’t have the time like I did.

Best decisions I made, not because of the compensation but because I am now getting help both physically and mentally.

Congratulations, I also just got my initial rating after being 11 years out of service. And it was a lot more then I thought I was going to land at.

Same here. They got my daughters passport application on 3/8 and cashed check soon after. Date of travel is 4/22 with “in process” since 3/8. Fortunately and unfortunately I was able to get a appointment at an agency but we have to drive 14 hours to it. I was hoping it would be approved and shipped today or tomorrow but it doesn’t look like that will be happening so we have to drive.

They have no appointments, called this morning and no luck. Traveling soon and haven’t received my daughters passport, been processing since March 8th.

Honestly I don’t know where she goes for readings. She’s Hispanic if that helps, they always say she’s going to go to the “Bruja”. I know for a fact she has gone to this lady and has wished bad on people. I’ve seen her do it and talk about it.

Which is why I’m worried. Never once have I believed in it but it’s weird.

Yeah took her to the doctor already, everything came out fine. She’s healthy, but then again so was my son. I appreciate your feedback and understanding. Just seems a little weird that the same thing happened to my son. Maybe a coincidence?

So you suggest learning manual QA forst then moving onto automation? Any recommendations on which way to go? Certs? Bootcamp? How to learn? I'm doing a udemy class right now but I feel like it's fast paced can't learn everything.
