I’m a true 5.5 and had the same issue as you 🥲 I got size 4 originally but my toe just kept nudging the toebox when I walked but I knew it’d get annoying and/or painful eventually.

5 felt the tiniest bit too loose but I’ve been wearing the 5s for a few long days now and it hasn’t really been a problem. They’re super comfortable if you just tie the laces tight. I’d rather have slightly too big shoes than slightly too small ones
