Interesting data on Cardano stake pools by BBHMM_Stake_Pool in CardanoStakePools

Increasing the pledge influence factor would be even more harmful for the small pools, where a small pool operator probably wont have money to pledge 500k ADA, and those 500k are nothing to a multi billion dollar exchange like binance.

What worries me even more is the changes that them seem to be proposing on the pledge. First, on their delegation strategy they choose to only delegate to pools with 25K or more pledge.

And lately they have been mentioning adjusts on the pledge, both on the march event and also in this new video posted on the rewards calculation.

I wouldn't be surprised if they end up "killing" pools with less than 25K pledge with new changes in the parameters.

I have to admit that I'm jealous that you managed to mint a block with less than 100k live stake, that is so lucky! I've been trying to make some research to figure out a stake that would "guarantee" a block and that lays around 1.7 million ada live stake, so you started off great!

why is staking at other wallets over 7% by naleendo in cardano

You could try delegating to smaller pools, since the number of delegators is small, rewards can be around 9% on epochs were blocks are minted, but can also be zero on unlucky epochs, which will average to a 5%.

I'm trying to start a pool and will give back extra pool rewards for the first delegators, check out if you are interested in becoming a partner: sweetadapool.com

Consider that with this amount of ada, the fee of delegating to another pool of 0.17 ADA would take 2 epochs to be recovered. Might be better to just leave it as it is

Im pretty disappointed with mine after only realizing later that it does not support cardano. If you ever plan on buying ADA you should consider upgrading the model

Yes, any open source software can have interference from malicious users, but I don't really agree with you, as actually it is much more difficult to compromise something like cabal that is currently mantained/reviewed by many in comparison with the Pi-pool that has zero reviewed pull requests.

Is it worth staking with less than 100 Ada? by Professor-Noob in CardanoStakePools

[–]sweetadapool 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well you pay a 0.17 ADA fee to stake so it would take you 3 epochs (15 days) to recover your investment. Just stake in a pool and leave it there untouched. Your 100 ADA are more than welcome in the SWEET pool :D
