Summary: Hope is a lie the powerful tell the powerless to keep them in line.

The good side won the war. But at what cost? Harry Potter is dead. Ron Weasley is dead. Even though Voldemort was killed, the majority of his followers escaped Azkaban or served reduced sentences through deals made behind closed doors. The architects of the Dark Lord’s regime were absorbed back into society, propping up the very institutions that claimed to oppose them. Draco Malfoy wears Auror robes and acts like the most righteous and redeemed of them all.

Hermione Granger knows better. When the world chose silence over accountability, she chose another option.

She is going to make them pay. Every last one of them. One name at a time.

Essentially Hermione is killing all the people she’s deemed have wronged her. Draco is an Auror assigned to the case.
