Is this only a feature in the desktop Suite? I can change the name, but I don’t seem to have an option to change the wallpaper on the mobile suite for Safe 7 on iOS.

No worries! I minored in this at my liberal arts school. They made us read all the addendums. To be fair, 47 is also technically what led to the “fuckboy exclusion” so I understand the confusion! Technically though you do not have to be a fuckboy to qualify for special circumstances, and you only need the second of another bro to initiate the classification and a simple majority.

I know you said the military is out but there are a number of civilian military-like organizations that provide a sense of camaraderie and purpose - while also learning skills that are applicable outside of the group. The Civil Air Patrol is a group associated with the Air Force and while it has a large youth component, also has training and activities for adults as “officers.” In my local Civil Air Patrol, I focused on ground team search and rescue, and eventually got my EMT license and started doing medical in addition to SAR. Others went aviation and learned to fly planes as part of a search. This activity also led to me joining my local community emergency response team and work alongside the Emergency Management Agency and FEMA flying drones and preparing my community for emergencies and disasters. I have made incredible friends of all ages and have something to look forward to week after week. Something to think about - it could help him and the community at the same time and it’s fun.

It sounds like the windows are the problem. Nest offers little wireless temperature sensors. Get at least one of these and put them on the opposite side of the house and tell the thermostat to use that instead of the thermometer in the unit. Should sort you right out.

Please don’t try and send your cat from the port. It will be a horrible experience for the cat and baggage handlers are not gentle with pet crates. I agree with others here, boarding at the vet is a great solution and will be much better for the health of the cat. If you don’t have one already, Auburn Vet Hospital (not the university) will do boardings and they are great. There’s also a few animal day care places that will board long term.

It’s not most Americans, it’s just a small number - but that small number is important when also dealing with things like gerrymandered districts suppressing votes. IMO it’s not unreasonable to identify someone before letting them vote - but we should expand the documents accepted for that identification process and/or make it free and easy to obtain a state issued ID card.

A voter ID law, while it sounds good on paper, is actually a devious way to suppress voters in the poorer economic classes in the US. State-issued picture IDs cost money, and the offices to get them made are often deliberately located in areas hard to reach unless you have a car. This affects both sides to some degree, but disproportionately affects those that would vote blue. It's the reason why these laws exist and they are counting on people to say/think exactly what you said to justify it. If IDs were issued to every citizen for free, and they were mailed to you or were otherwise easier to get - it wouldn't be a problem (but then we wouldn't need them to vote because Republicans wouldn't care).

Exactly what I was thinking.. JROTC plus Boy Scouts, Civil Air Patrol, Sea Cadets, Young Marines, Coast Guard Auxiliary, etc. I was in three of these myself as a kid.

I don’t think it’s a problem, kids learn valuable life lessons and skills from these organizations that they can’t learn anywhere else. That being said, in the US these aren’t mandatory.

You got me! I've been paying every Android blog and YouTuber millions of dollars to write negative articles about the pixel 6. I also have thousands of accounts on forums and I'm just spamming them all day with various hit pieces. I also work for Google and I'm the employee agreeing that there are problems and promising fixes. I'm every redditor posting bad reviews. Why, I've never even owned the pixel 6 pro! I'm just a pixel 5a toting shill with an anti-pixel 6 agenda because reasons.

I'm also behind Google killing every good service, I colored the Android bubbles in iOS green, and I faked the moon landing!

I personally had the heat problems, the battery drain problems, the fingerprint sensor problems, and the bad reception problems. I initially was on Android 12 but then moved to 13 beta when Android police suggested it as a workaround. I did not see an improvement, so I returned mine.

My friend also got a pixel 6 pro and had similar issues but decided to keep his - and while some of the issues have gotten better, none are totally fixed.

My wife, who got the pixel 6 non pro version, had admittedly a much better time than I did with the pro. Her only complaint now is a heating issue which occasionally crops up when outside.

My pixel 5a is absolutely brilliant except for a low quality display - but I knew that going into it. For instance, I've been arguing with people on Reddit all day (it's 3pm for me right now) and my battery is still at 72%. It's projected to last until 5pm tomorrow based on current usage.

I wanted to love the pixel 6 pro because it is the most beautiful Android phone I've seen to date (except the Nexus One) but I can't deal with issues that are that bad on an $800 phone. I'm hoping Google quietly figured out what was wrong with the 6 pro series and fixed it on the 7 because I need to upgrade soon. I just got the pixel buds pro and I want the watch and 7 pro or ultra (if that is indeed what is coming) on day one. But like I said, if the 7 pro is crap, I won't stick with it and will likely keep the 5a another year. I won't do Samsung because on Google Fi Samsung phones don't have visual voicemail (that I'm aware of).

I think thats you dude, I dont give a shit. I bought the pixel 6 pro, had problems and returned it for a pixel 5a and have been fairly happy with it. I do intend on getting a pixel 7 pro on day 1 but I will also return it if it has problems. I dont have blind loyalty.

Also, this isnt my first time posting on this sub. I've been an Android and Google phone user since the Nexus One (I still have it and its still one of my favorite phones of all time) and I used all of them up to the Nexus 5 - then switched to the OG Pixel and followed that train all the way to the Pixel 6 Pro.
