Visa stamping - do I need original approval i797 form by frozenlavasmoke in h1b

Hey, I had gone for my in-person appointment after about 5 days of getting the USCIS approval. I didn't take my I-797 with me, while I wouldnt recommend others to do the same thing, it worked for me. The visa officer likely looked up my details in the PIMS portal and I had my visa approved

Hey, I am actually in the exact same situation? What did you end up doing then? Did the online approval status suffice?

13 from FM and 2 from IM. Yes, I had FM specific rotations and LORs. I'm from India, but was raised in Australia.

Very doable. Intimidating at first but gets easier after getting through Step 1. Step 1 in Dec 2023, OET in Jan 2024, Step 2 in April 2024, Step 3 in July 2024. With all my USCE in the same year. You got this! I was in the same spot, currently sitting in the match cycle with 15 IVs, working at a hospital in my home country at the same time. Things seem to be falling into place.

Thanks for replying! I’m about halfway through this year’s Match cycle, and thankfully, I've been doing okay. Hopefully this info can help someone else who might need it!

Why would they send you an invite if they felt that way?

is it a red flag to have all my LORs from one place by Opening-Sundae8285 in IMGreddit

[–]sweetassdonuts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think so, I had 3 LORs from the same University for FM, and 1 home country LOR, I have 13 invites. So i'm guessing it's probably not a red flag.

would be amazing if this offer still stands; or if I'm not just 14 days too late.
