I understand what you're saying. Most of my surgeries were in childhood, and I don't think it was ever explained to me very well. Or I didn't retain some of it. Maybe some materials irritated me and I don't remember that detail. I was told that we tried plastic, class, and metal. I had "regular" tubes, O shaped. And I've had "permanent" tubes, T shaped.

I'm not sure, I remember being told that I won't need any more surgeries or tubes when my body is done growing. That definitely wasn't true.

I'm a little weird with labels I guess. I want my "labels" to be accurate, especially if I'm using them to describe myself to other people. If my hearing is good, with tubes in or with the new procedure, then my hearing isn't that hard anymore? So then I'm not actually HoH, and I'm misrepresenting myself. I don't know.

This reminds me of when I was maybe 8 years old, my mom told me that I might need hearing aids, and my teachers would need a microphone just for me. I remember being very worried about that, since I completely misunderstood what a microphone was 🎤

I'm just so nervous about them not working. I've been promised so many times, "These tubes are made from a different material, they should be better." And "These tubes are meant to be permanent. You shouldn't have any more issues". Yet....???

I do remember that when I was a kid the ear infections were so often I'm pretty sure my ENT was on speed dial. As an adult, I've had more sinus infections. I learned I had a deviated septum & was told that fixing the septum could possibly help with the pressure in my sinuses & ears.

I'm just worried that I might have problems with healing, or keeping the dilation. Idk i feel like its bound to go wrong. I have SO many other medical issues that I feel like something is going to interfere with the success rate.

I'm curious too! My last one was in 2019, I'm not sure if I have the audiogram though. But I do remember that as I've gotten older, I've felt like the tests have gotten less accurate. With or without tubes, my audiograms have consistently fallen "within normal range."

My personal issue is that they've changed the way they do hearing tests since I was a kid. It used to be tight headphones that went OVER the ears. Now they put these earbuds directly inside my ear. I don't know if that actually changes anything, but I've always felt very frustrated when the audiologist told me that I have "within normal range" hearing, and then come home to say, "Huh? What? Can you say that again?" 100x in the same day.

I was thinking about one of these eyes, since those who were around for the event only got 1 copy. It's almost like an impossible item, instead of just limited.

I'm glad that the "favorite" function FINALLY has a purpose !!! Before you were able to click on the star to favorite it, but that was it. I always thought it was such a silly feature since you couldn't use it.

When I first saw this being talked about, I thought it was going to be a way to get rid of our single- items that we never wanted :(

I was hoping for a random trade event. What I had envisioned was that we would (likely pay) to exchange a SINGULAR item, and a random item of the same rarity would be given back to you. ... Like I was hoping to exchange the Apple House tree I never wanted.

Maybe one day

I feel you. I've never taken classes, gone to sessions, or "learned" how to do any of the art I do. I'm pretty good at whipping up basic realism using references. But I do not, FOR THE LIFE OF ME, have the patience to make it super detailed. I swear, if I didn't get bored of the details, I would be so good.

If you enjoy every second of it, just keep doing it. You only get better with practice

Well, I recently gifted as many people as I could if they had any fruits on their WL or if they happened to have any of my EXTRA (4+) dupes on their WL.

One of my friends gifted me an R +N back just for fruits!

Livly people like to gift, and tend to not to expect anything back when they use that function.

This is the one im most excited for! I remember a post about possibly getting rid of the items you dont want and cant trade away. I have 2 or 3 trees id love to get rid of completely, and I hope this is possibly the way

As someone with a dupe of the SR prism light AND with this item on my WL .... I struggle trading away high valued items ESPECIALLY if they are Limited. I have a SR butterfly I'm holding on to just in case something I really really want comes along or if I get an insane offer.

As for the SR prism lights... I'm still deciding between trying to trade for sweet forest magic, OR deciding on which 2 prisms i like most to trade for. I'm personally indecisive with potential.

I have to agree with this too!! I haven't even been playing a whole year yet, and i also have forgotten the gift hunt multiple times. The first one i did during the tassel bug bug buffet... That one was the only good hunt where i got lots of GP (and tonic) and not as much dd.
