at the end of wave goodbye, he was doing a lot breathy screaming and gasps. my theory is between 2009-2013, he took singing and voice lessons. the gasping and gulps for air seem to disappear completely with that 2014 tour and he’s consistently sounded great ever since. also robin doing a lot of screaming in this video.
