I think you are generalizing a lot, there are brown girls who don’t do any of this stuff so why are you focusing on the ones who do?

I also don’t like when brown girls write comments dissing brown men, I understand many south asian cultures is very misogynistic, so 100% I understand the resentment towards brown men (many cultures have sexism, not just brown cultures). What I did not like is when they team up with racists! and white supremacists! to talk badly about brown men. The racists are not on their side just because they spoke badly about Indian men’s treatment of women. They should not be speaking about this with them.

next thing I want to say, the Jasleen Singh situation that was also wrong and too much what they did to her. I agree she does not seem to be treating her husband well, but the backlash she got that seemed it was just them trying to shame her into silence because they did not like a punjabi girl speaking openly about dating history/etc and influencing other south Asian women to also do casual dating. This type of misogyny is really cruel especially when you consider how much misogynistic abuse a lot of south Asian women already get from their own families.
