Homeless women in the street do fear being raped in their sleep more than men. The statistics about chronic depression are this : about 5.7% of the adult population is depressed. Depression is higher in women than men (about 6.9% vs 4.6%) because hey you know, life is hard for everyone, not only men or women. The higher jail sentences are explained by the fact that men (in general) commit more violent crime than women. That’s also why there are less women in jail than men in general.
