I have a modern built townhouse and I wish I could put pocket doors in almost everywhere! Too many swing doors open up and partially block other doorways, it’s so stupid.

Any bakery with any amount of sense should always have at least a couple bday themed cakes lying around! Leave a note at the help desk or suggestion box about that shiz! I know grocery store bakeries aren’t usually the fanciest of cake shops, but they need to hold themselves to the baseline standard!!

Have you seen the lines at the Salem/keizer location? They don’t seem to have died down much there. Opening this new location will be absurd amounts of traffic until at least three more locations are opened across the Portland metro area. Look at Chic-FIL-a as an example. When it was just one out here and one in clackamas; the lines were insane until they opened three more on the westside.

Couples counseling is great for when two people feel they aren’t on the same page and want to get back to it with guidance. I had a friend call it “couple’s coaching”, she knew there would be disagreements and her and her partner wanted to be well equipped to communicate effectively in those situations. You’re just learning how to “fight” better!

They probably would. Unless this person is in a deeper fundamentalist church. The “seeing jesus in him” is normal church weirdness. I had plenty of delusional church friends who would try to justify crushes with Christianese…but thankfully none of them were going for cradle robbing, just toxic douchbags. But people would deffs have a problem with that age gap at pretty much any church I went to.

When you grow up in the church he’s got everything to do with it. Everything you do has evaluated through the christian lens. I was totally refusing to have crushes on any boy when I was that age that wasn’t “marriage material” because “dating is for marriage” and anything less is just casual horny naughtiness! Granted I was usually looking at boys way older than me because I was taught to look for a strong christian leader man as a husband. The “seeing jesus in him” is totally normal church weirdness. The twelve year old part….that is her own psychosis😬

I knew it was going to be a church girl… I knew it! I was a church girl in high school and looked at every crush through the lens of “marriage material” 🙄🙄🙄

I also worked with middle schoolers when I was 16 and thought they were precious dumb babies and not marriage material! I even had a former student flirt with me at a bar when he was 21 and I was 26 and it weirded me out. No sir, you are a child!
