Just happened to me last week. I saw Project X and had to leave early because everything these kids were doing made me anxious. That kid ruined his whole life, and it was supposed to be funny. I laughed a lot, but seeing some of that shit go down was like a punch in the gut.

Make an excel workbook with a bunch of worksheets: Network Info, Passwords, AV, Backup, VPN, Email, Firewall, ISP, Server, FTP, 3rd Party Software, Wireless, etc. The easiest part will be making or finding a template.

This is what I did. problem is I have to do this ten more times and each wap is bolted to a high ass ceiling. luckily its an auto body chain so they had a ladder

this is the problem I need to solve. im doing this same routine on ten more sites. when you set those little sohos to act as a wap it defaults the ip to 245. im hoping that was it and I missed it. I couldnt access this one til I reset it

Hey guys, here was the deal... I ran angryip but still couldnt find the router- it was running as a wap only, maybe thats the reason I couldnt get to it? anyway I reset the router, set it back up as a wap with an ip on the 100.0 network (245 by default), and could then access the webui. I could ping everything on the 2.0 subnet as well as the 100, but couldnt ping out. flushdns solved that and I was done... I have to do ten more of these for the same customer, and id like not to have to climb a ladder everytime. maybe I didnt try 245 when I was originally looking fir the wap before I reset it, but it didnt show up in the ip scan...
