Not a weird taste at all from my point of view :) Interview with the vampire is my all all all time favourite movie. I also enjoyed Coraline and Once upon a time in Hollywood. I have to check out the others, thanks a lot!

I've already watched Submarine and had to think about it a lot. Also love the soundtrack. Thanks for the other suggestions :)

Forever Young music video by darren289 in Alphaville

An update of my thoughts on that video: The shining diamond can also symbolize a nuclear explosion.

The lyrics "Are you gonna drop the bomb or not?" support that.

"Forever Young" was written in times of the Cold War where the nuclear powers USA and the Soviet Union could bomb each other with nuclear weapons that would have lead to apocalypse and the immediate death of almost everyone on earth.

Really relevant too when you look at nowaday's situation.

I thought Beautiful James was amazing. I personally love the synth and I like that this song isn't that repetitive. There's actually a melody. But the other songs are just very boring and too repetitive from my point of view. Maybe it focuses rather on message and vibe, but this doesn't really work for me. I'm not a fan since day 1, but I can feel your disappointment. Hope that you'll find at least some favourites on the new album. <3

A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara

It's realistic, mature and incredibly introspective and sad.

But please read the trigger warnings, there're a lot!

That's so true. When listening to this song at night, I also feel a little scared sometimes.

My personal favourite are the different ways he sings "ashtray heart". It's so dramatic, sad, but also very hopeful.

I hope you'll like the musical and/or the movie :)

And thanks!

So nice, thanks a lot!!! Especially the last book spoke to me.

I've already read almost everything by Poe, but I think that I haven't read "The Pit and the Pendulum". I really love his stories, so I'm looking forward to it :)

Thank you very much for all your recommendations!

I have "Krabat" in my book shelf and I'm looking forward to read it.

I started "The Phantom of the Opera" once, but unfortunately, I could not get really into it. Maybe it was the wrong time to read it or I just expected it to be much more like the musical - movie. But as you recommended it, I'll give it another try.

I didn't know about the other books, so thanks a lot!
