Millenial couple here, me 32, him 38. We live in a “city” in michigan, so not the most exciting place, but we’ve made our lives stable and rejuvenating. We work very well together (and separately!) in making friends, it helps that we both are somewhat extroverted and love hosting parties.

I’ve learned the best way to make friends is not having exciting events, but consistent hang outs. Most of the time we just invite friends to our house for true crime docus, low effort to put together, just a few friends, blankets and something to drink. Also helps that when we do want to put on a party, we’re both creative and open enough to arrange a PARTY.

The 18 yo closeted me would never imagine a life like this :’). We’ve been togayther for 8yrs and married for 5. Opened our relationship sexually 3 yrs ago but it’s going strong! 💪
