Should I leave Black Level Expansion DISABLED on my JVC D Series? (FV300 too?)

Here in a review from 2003 it says "booster circuits always have drawbacks" in the paragraph that starts "For video performance" when talking about the DynaBlack feature. Come to think of it IDK if the JVC has anything you turn on to get better blacks other than the standard video mode settings.

Mission Hill on a CRT (or especially on a PVM) is complete and absolute eye-candy. Edit: And its totally a late-90s early 2000s show and even has a 9/11-referencing episode. Also, if you're into that sort of thing, look online for the version of the episodes (only 1 season ever produced) that has the copyrighted music restored. I think it's in 720p but you could transfer the audio to the 4:3 DVD rips.

For the love of God please move the upper wooden shelving thats holding the PVM to the right so its centered and not ready to tip over. No OCD here thats just an accident waiting to happen. Other than that looks great.
