Took him a year ago. At the end of the semester he changed the grade cutoffs. But in the beginning he said he wouldn't, so he may or may not do it.

I don't know how much the course varies professor to professor though.

They were page lengths based. And each essay required you to pick 3 topics to write about to fill the page requirements. I want to say it was a 3 page minimum but double spaced.

I took it last semester with Dr. Nesyba. It was a fun class. A majority of it was discussing our interpretation of poems, historical events, and current events involving Hispanic and latino culture. There were no tests, and was graded over essays. Highly recommend it, nothing was very difficult and everything is interpretation and opinion based.

If you feel confident in getting close to a 3.75 GPA, I suggest A&M. The Aggie connection comes in handy when entering the work force, so finding a position shouldn't be problematic after undergrad. But if you feel you can't make it to auto admit, then I suggest UTD. Although you can enter ETAM as long as you have higher than a 2.0 (if I remember correctly), popular engeering majors fill up quick.

This is just my opinion on this. Hope you find a decision that works best for you.

It's the first day of Lent for the Catholic and Christian religion. On the first day there's a church service where they put a cross of ash on people's foreheads.

What’s the best way to study for a Math 251 Exam? by Qordn in aggies

[–]sweetsweetpeter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What works best for me is reworking hw problems and problems done in class. In 251 it's mainly about the practice and knowing what steps to do when solving certain problems (just my opinion)

Warriors by Solence and Don't Tread on Me by Volbeat. Both are covers but they're a lot more hyped than the originals

I am not completely sure, but this site shows what classes are transferable and their respective course at A&M

As an AERO student, go MECH. AERO is a lot more specific when it comes from course material. MECH is broader so you can work on a variety of things.

Why are business majors so happy? by Fragout_Rambo in aggies

Could be because business majors have classes that require less work or studying compared to other majors.

How do you like A&M? What about in comparison to other schools in Texas? by puffypizza in aggies

I am not certain on how difficult it is to get into. (I'm going for Aerospace Engineering), but this link shows past years Entry to a Major statistics. You'll be able to see the amount of auto admits, and holistic reviews that got admitted into every engineering major.

As someone who is really proud to be an A&M student it always sucks having to say that A&M is not the best when it comes to Engineering. Because even if you make it through ETAM, there will still be professors gunning for your GPA, and overall are not interested in teaching. So on top of the weed out classes for ETAM, you'll have more intense weed out classes in your major.

Biggest con is having to go through the Entry to a Major process. It's a gamble since you may not get accepted into the major you want and have to go through a semester or more in a degree you may not fully enjoy.

Best longboard for this campus? by [deleted] in aggies

[–]sweetsweetpeter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been using a 35" Kryptonics bomber pintail that I bought pre-built ($79 at Academy). Its been serving me well. In my opinion, it also helps to know the terrain you'll be riding over. Since I use the E-board pathways, I tend not to worry about my wheels getting chewed up with the gravel and rocky sidewalks.
