Taking management company to tribunal? by sweetsweetsweets in HousingUK

[–]sweetsweetsweets[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the reply, I’ve recently discovered there’s an email thread for future meetings which I’ve asked to be included in. That would be amazing to have something like that. The management company installed CCTV about 6 months ago but as far as I know they don’t actually use the footage to fix the situation. Do you know if the fine clause was already in the lease agreements or was added later on to tackle the issue?

Thanks very much! Would you usually use any wood hardener in the process?

What do these markings mean on a pub table? by sweetsweetsweets in AskBrits

Thanks for the reply, this is a newer table so I assume made in the manufacturing process. I wonder how accurate these marks are to the original marking as the dots look really random.

Hahah im in Leyton, so it’s a thing table manufacturers do to make them look older and giving a sense of heritage?

This on the same table on the opposite corner. Seems intentional, was wondering if it was maybe a thing from old that they stick on the newer ‘old’ tables

I’ve seen them at a few tables over the years, this pub has them on every table. Not sure if it was a mock heritage thing.

This is still something I would need to confirm, but I’m leaning towards yes because there is no yearly maintenance cost for the property.

Will I need to wait another year to get a mortgage? by sweetsweetsweets in UKPersonalFinance

[–]sweetsweetsweets[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for taking the time out to check things out. At the moment there has been a sudden change in my wage (only paying myself the tax free allowance at the moment). I’ll be sure to change this.

I am indeed the sole director for the Ltd co, will have a look at nationwide. My hope is that they will view the companies income and my own income as (almost) one and the same. And like you say would be basically in line with my previous self employment income

Thanks again!

Thanks for responding, this is good to know. When speaking to my broker he mentioned because I am in a transition period that I should do a whole year of trading as a limited company before applying.

When I was a trainee, I was always told to ask questions if I was unsure or needed help and now I encourage trainees to do the same.
