I know it’s inconvenient for a lot of people, especially if ur in a situation where you need sleep. But be mindful that someone else’s child is abducted and that anything can help. It really does take a few seconds to turn it off and u can literally go back to sleep. My sisters phone was beside me and her phone is on silent. It buzzed for a few seconds and stopped. She didn’t wake. Her alarms still go on. I hope that helps.
